Our founder, a 23-year law enforcement veteran, was last to leave the scene of a suicide. He was asked by a grieving mother who would be handling the cleanup? He was heartbroken to share the news with her that she would be responsible for the cleanup. This experience left a lasting impression. Upon retirement, he planned to do something to help families like this grieving mother. BioTechs Crime was one of the first of its kind in Texas 18 years ago. Since that time, our 4 locations have been called in to help with some of the most tragic incidents in Texas history.

At BioTechs Crime DFW Every Life Is Special

BioTechs originated in San Antonio Texas by Trini and Audrey Trinidad. Audrey’s sister, Kathy, and her husband Jesse have worked side by side in the San Antonio office for nearly 10 years. In 2018, Jesse and Kathy decided to share the family mission by opening a crime scene cleanup location in Dallas and in Fort Worth, TX. Jesse and Kathy carry on the family legacy of putting others first and treating clients with tender care and absolute professionalism.

We believe that every life is special. Our team comes in with reverent respect for the deceased and for the surroundings where the event took place. We are here to help in any way we can, and we do that by making the room look as if nothing had ever happened.

Our team is made up of mostly active firefighters. These are compassionate souls who put their lives on the line to improve the quality of life for others, and they have spent the majority of their lives putting other lives first. We believe that their firefighting experience adds an additional layer of care, attention to detail, and empathy which are all traits that we embody here at BioTechs Crime DFW.

“My family had a terrible loss, when my brother-in-law took his life in the back garage of my sister’s house. I remember receiving the call to come over, all I knew was I had to do everything I could to stay calm and handle the situation. I was one of the first to arrive and I couldn’t believe the scene, it was unbearable and I all thought about was I need to protect my sister and my niece from seeing the area. Right away I remembered learning about BioTechs from a friend who was like family. I immediately called and said I needed someone out there as soon as possible. Next thing I knew Audrey with BioTechs was there and she was so compassionate, all she was worried about was keeping my family safe and not anywhere near the scene. I was appreciative that she briefly explained what needed to be done, so that my family knew how long it might take, and before I knew it, the technicians were on the scene. It wasn’t an easy job, my family wanted to preserve everything in the garage, and since this incident involved a shotgun, which was no easy task. I was concerned about my neighbors, so I was glad to see that BioTechs showed up in unmarked vans, which allowed our situation to be private and discreet.

It has taken our family awhile to recover from this loss, but now that we are doing our best to move on in our journey, I wanted to give Audrey and her team, the credit they deserve for taking care of my family.
